6. Nagni Temple

This temple is one of the famous Pathankot tourist places that is situated about 16 km on the outskirts of the city and is devoted to the Goddess of Snakes. One of the few temples in India where snakes or “Naga” as known in the Hindu mythology is worshipped. In August, the ancient temple organizes a large fair every Saturday which attracts many pilgrims and tourists from all over the country. 

The locals also believe that a snake bite can be cured if you drink this holy water and apply mud on it from the premises of the temple. In the temple where the idol of Nagni Mata is positioned, water comes out from there, which is a unique aspect of the place.
