Before introducing & sharing my travel experiences, I want to share a thought that always come to my mind is “हम तो फकीर आदमी है झोला उठाकर चल पडेगे“.
Travelers doesn’t need to introduce themselves as their social media speaks all about how eager they are for traveling & clicking photographs to make memories. I’m a similar kind of person who loves to travel & explore places of India. In my childhood traveling means going to Mama’s house where I love to play & enjoy with cousins & friends. After being an IT professional, I realized how travel is important in life to heal myself from routine fast paced stressful life, to make myself feeling refreshed & peaceful.
I, Nirav Desai – Solo & Group Traveler, basically coming from a small district of Gujarat State – Valsad where few local places to visit like Tithal Beach, Parnera Hill, Wilson Hill, Tadkeswar Mahadev Temple. Some other places to explore near Valsad are Silvasa, Daman, Saputara, Ahwa-Dang, Dandi, Dumas Beach, Mahalaxmi Temple etc.
Well, every trip can be well planned or unplanned. I was planning almost from September-2018 for the Kedarkantha Trek but somehow it couldn’t happen, And finally I had experienced the same after a long wait. As you know, planning is a necessity when you are traveling, so I took my time to execute it successfully. – “Work with Proper Planning -> Maximizes the chances to get Succeed”
Actually, I traveled other places like Mount Abu, Udaipur – City of Lakes, Diu, Somnath, Girnar, Matheran, Goa, Rishikesh, Haridwar. But the best place I have ever visited till now is Kedarkantha – Journey to Gods own land.
During a trip to the Uttrakhand, my friends & I had explored other places like
-
- Dehradun – F.R.I (Forest Research Institute), Robber’s Cave
- Mussoorie – Kampty waterfall, Buddha’s Temple
- Rishikesh – Night camping at Camp Majestic, River rafting in Ganga river, Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula
- Haridwar – Har ki pauri, Local market.
To experience the beauty of nature, walk-in snow trail, the colorful sky with stars, a mesmerizing view of Frozen Lake – Juda Ka Talab, stunning & breathtaking view of the sunrise from the Kedarkantha Peak (12500 Ft.) where the atmosphere was windy with -12º which was tough & challenging physically and mentally too.
Juda Ka Talab (9,100 Ft.)
Surely, you need a lot of strength & energy to reach onto the peak through trekking. The path to the whole trek was really challenging and “You must have to Challenge Yourself to know the Hidden Qualities you have.” The last 700m was the toughest part of the whole trek as it’s slanted at a height of 80º where you have to be careful & need an energy to reach onto the peak. From where you will witness of Har Ki Dun valley, Rupin valley, Yamunotri range, Bandarpuch mountains.
I must say the first trekking experience was worth the planning. preparation & visit. It was the best experience I ever had in my life, which helped me understand lot of things, the best one is “Keep your aim always high like Mountains & Believe in yourself with Never Give Up Attitude”. That mesmerizing & peaceful place is always close to my heart, inspiring me to challenge myself in personal as well as professional life too. Being a mountaineer, I loved exploring this wonderful and beautiful place of Uttrakhand.
