2. Belum Caves –Longest Existing Caves of India

Belum Caves of Kurnool are the largest cave in India that is famous for tourist attraction. At some point, the depth of the cave goes deeper than 46 meters. This is especially known as Pataalaganga. Underground water year-round at this point, gliding over the rocks and hiding below the surface again. These caves were formed millions of years ago with the consequent formation of limestone.

The fort has an interesting history of the last ruler of Alampur. He was imprisoned in the Konda Reddy fort by Kurnool Nawab in the 17th century.
